Body Reset 360 ("we", "us") collects only the personal information we need to run a massage clinic, and we handle it in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Acupuncture comes from traditional Chinese medicine. Very fine, sterile, single-use needles are inserted at selected points on the body and left in place while you rest. Many people use it alongside massage to help with muscle tension and general well-being.
What we collect
- Booking details — your name, email address and phone number, and the appointments you book with us.
- Sign-in information — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We never see your Google password.
- Health information — your therapist may record health history relevant to your treatment. This is collected with your consent and used only to provide safe, appropriate care.
- Payment records — records of what you paid for which service, as required for receipts and tax purposes. We do not store card numbers.
How we use it
- To manage your appointments — including confirmation, reminder and cancellation emails, and calling you if an appointment needs to change.
- To provide treatment safely and keep the records our therapists are professionally required to keep.
- To issue receipts, including receipts for insurance claims where applicable.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We send marketing email only if you have opted in — every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing never affects your appointment emails.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers needed to run our booking system (such as email delivery and secure hosting), and where required by law or by our therapists' professional regulations. Providers acting for us may store data outside Canada; where they do, it remains protected by contract.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires. Health records are kept for the period required by the applicable professional college. You can ask us to delete your account information at any time; we will remove what we are not legally required to keep.
Your choices
- You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
- You can book by phone if you prefer not to use the website.
- Reminder and confirmation emails are part of providing your appointment; we send no other email.
