Sports massage focuses on the muscles you rely on for your sport or training. Your therapist combines techniques such as deep strokes, trigger point work, stretching and muscle release to address the specific areas that are working hardest.
What to expect
We start by asking about your activity, training load and any tight or sore spots. The session can be lighter and brisker before an event, or slower and more focused after training. Expect firmer pressure in targeted areas, always within your comfort level.
Good to know
- Some muscle soreness for a day or two afterwards is normal; stay hydrated and keep moving gently.
- If you have an acute injury, let us know — we may adjust the treatment or suggest you see a physician first.
