Hot Stone Massage

Smooth, heated basalt stones are used alongside classic massage strokes, letting warmth soften tight muscles for a deeply calming, comforting treatment.

Hot stone massage pairs traditional massage techniques with smooth basalt stones warmed to a comfortable temperature. The stones are glided along the muscles and placed at key points on the body, so warmth can ease tension while your therapist works.

What to expect

Stones are heated in water and checked before they touch your skin. Your therapist alternates between hands-on massage and the stones, and adjusts heat and pressure as you go — just say if anything feels too warm.

Good to know

  • Please let us know if you are pregnant, have diabetes or reduced sensation, circulation problems, high blood pressure, or any skin condition — heat may not be suitable.
  • Avoid sunburn or a hot tub on the day of your treatment.
